LePage Has Sights Set on Future

BOISE – Earlier this summer, Pierre LePage was staring at his computer screen with his mother on another computer. Both were vigorously refreshing their browsers during the MLB draft to see where LePage would be playing this summer. In the 13th round, LePage burst in to where his mom was, exclaiming he was going to be a Chicago Cubs prospect.

Fast forward a couple months later, LePage is at short-season Class Low A Boise, batting .343 with one home run and 21 RBIs. "He's definitely a high energy guy, scrappy. I think a lot of people think he's undersized, but he doesn't play like it.
