Rhee Surpassing Cubs' Expectations

Playing in his first year of pro ball, 19-year-old South Korea native Dae-Eun Rhee has exceeded the Cubs' expectations thus far. Through seven starts spanning 26 innings with Class-A Peoria this season, Rhee has posted a 1.38 ERA.

If Rhee's numbers of innings per start seem low, it is because he missed over a month of playing time earlier this season with triceps tendonitis and the Cubs have been babying the right-hander since he returned from the disabled list late last month, gradually increasing his workload from start to start.
