Farm System Will Look Different in '08

Players and faces come and go from every team's farm system each year, often unnoticed and just as often unmissed. The Cubs are saying goodbye to plenty of familiar faces late in 2007.

Several of those faces departed toward the end of the 2007 season. In August, the Cubs traded outfielder Buck Coats to the Cincinnati Reds and dealt LHP Clay Rapada to the Detroit Tigers. They also traded RHP Rocky Cherry and INF Scott Moore to the Baltimore Orioles.
