2012 TigsTools: Best Fastball

It's no secret the Tigers, under Dave Dombrowski and David Chadd, have coveted guys that throw hard or have lots of projection when looking at young pitching prospects. With that focus, the Tigers always have numerous players with huge velocity profiles, and that trend continues with this year's TigsTools list.

Best Fastball 1. Bruce Rondon (RHP) 2. Montreal Robertson (RHP) 3. Edgar De La Rosa (RHP) 4. Casey Crosby (LHP) 5. Melvin Mercedes (RHP) Rondon's fastball is one of the best in all the minor leagues.
