| Theriot is in his third full season with the Cubs after spending parts of the 2005 and 2006 seasons in Chicago. He is in his ninth year in the organization after being selected with the Cubs' third-round draft pick from LSU in 2001. In 2008, he led the team with a .307 batting average and 58 multi-hit games. He finished with 24 extra-base hits and 38 RBI in 149 games. |
