| Selected in the fourth round of 2000 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Hill begins his third season in the Cubs' organization after spending 2008 primarily at Class AAA Iowa, where he batted .275 with a career-high 17 home runs in 113 games. He drove in 64 runs at Triple-A. Hill opened the 2009 season as the Cubs' backup catcher to Geovany Soto. |
