Pitched for Team Italy in inaugural World Baseball Classic a in '06 ... then spent the summer at Class Low A Boise, going 4-3 with a 3.80 ERA in 22 games ... struck out 35 and walked 13 in 42 2/3 innings. ... made 48 appearances at Class A Peoria in 2007, finishing with a 2.26 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 83 2/3 innings. ... 2008: Promoted to Class AA Tennessee from High-A Daytona after going 5-3 with a 3.69 ERA in 78 innings. |
