| Serving as the primarily right-handed setup man in the Cubs bullpen in 2006, Howry was 4-5 with a 3.17 ERA in 84 appearances spanning 76 2/3 innings. He struck out 71 and walked 17. Howry appeared in 78 games for the Cubs in 2007, finishing 6-7 with a 3.32 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 81.1 innings. He was 8-for-12 in save opportunities. |
