Led Class A Northwest League in total hits (87) in 2006, batting .289 in 74 games ... stole 22 bases and drew 27 walks while striking out just 32 times as Boise's starting center fielder ... went to Instructional League following 2006 to begin transition from outfield to second base ... Began 2007 at Class A Peoria at second base and eventually moved back to his previous post in center field ... Promoted to Class High A Daytona on June 17, 2007, after batting .249 with 15 doubles and 35 RBIs in 91 games with Peoria ... Promoted to Double-A Tennessee on Aug. 2, 2007 after batting .362 with six doubles and four RBI in 14 games with Daytona. |
