| Selected in the third round of the 2005 draft from the University of Mississippi, Holliman made his professional debut the following year at Class-A Daytona in the Florida State League. He placed fourth in the league in strikeouts with 121 in 144 innings. The right-hander was 8-11 overall with a 4.38 ERA in 26 starts. |
