Biography:
A starting center fielder from the University of North Carolina, Adam Greenberg won 2000 ACC Rookie of the Year and All-American honors with the Tar Heels. He followed that up with impressive numbers in his first full season at Daytona in 2003, hitting .299 with 11 RBIs.

After starting the season back in Daytona following off-season surgery, Greenberg was promoted to Double-A West Tennessee on August 1, where he hit .274 in 33 games. He was promoted again on August 6 to Triple-A Iowa.

Promoted to Chicago on July 7, 2005 after batting .275 in 74 games at Double-A.
