| Biography: |
| Shipman was traded to the Cubs from Boston for LHP Jimmy Anderson originally. Anderson was later sent back to the Cubs, while Shipman posted four saves and a 3.18 ERA in 17 innings pitched. While a member of the Sarasota Red Sox (also Class-A), Shipman converted 10 straight save opportunities at one point in 2004.
Shipman should be the Diamond Jaxx closer to start 2005.
