With his ailing bat failing and the Class-A Peoria Chiefs looking for more production at the hot corner, 24-year-old Brandon Taylor was approached by the Cubs about trying his hand at somewhat of a new position: pitcher. Never one to hold his tongue, last year’s 17th-round draft pick from BYU told the organization exactly what he thought of their idea.
