| Holliman Claims Another Postseason Award

Sevierville, Tennessee -- The Tennessee Smokies Professional Baseball Club, the Class AA Southern League Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, proudly announce that right-handed pitcher Mark Holliman has been recognized as the Double-A Single Game Performance award winner by MILB.com, the official website of Minor League Baseball. Holliman was awarded this honor based on his seven-inning no-hitter performance on June 21, 2007, a game in which he faced just one over the minimum number of batters. Holliman also smashed a two-run home run in that contest in leading the Smokies to a 3-0 victory over the Huntsville Stars.
