Harvey’s latest stint in Daytona comes after he struck out 39 times in 111 at-bats with Tennessee in his first career stint above Single-A ball. The Cubs drafted Harvey sixth overall in the first round of the 2003 draft from Dunedin (Fla.) High School.
Harvey got off to a hot start at Tennessee by batting .345 in his first 10 games, but was 2-for-23 in his last eight games prior to the demotion.
No other roster moves are known at this time.
