Eric Patterson was recalled from Class AAA Iowa on Wednesday and made a late-inning appearance as a pinch-hitter and defensive replacement in the Cubs’ 12-3 win over Cincinnati. Patterson batted .222 (8-for-36) in 11 games with Iowa prior to receiving the call-up. | |
