Burke ready for fresh start with Cubs

After batting .211 in 62 games with Class-A Fort Wayne of the Midwest League, Kyler Burke expects to head to Boise for short-season A-ball after joining the Cubs from the Padres' farm system on Wednesday in the trade that sent Michael Barrett to San Diego. The 19-year-old left-handed hitting outfielder was drafted in the supplemental first round by San Diego in 2006.

What have you spent the bulk of your at-bats working on this season? Really I've just tried to have good at-bats. The results will come if you do. I've worked on my approach a lot and with just trying to get my pitch to hit.
