Pie, 22, begins his second stint with the Cubs this season as he made his major league debut and batted .224 (11-for-49) in 18 games with Chicago from April 17-May 9 before he was optioned back to Iowa, where he began the 2007 campaign.

The left-handed batting outfielder has compiled a .389 batting average (49-for-126) with three home runs and 24 RBI in 31 games for Iowa this season.
