Addendum: Infielder Mike Kinkade was activated by the Iowa Cubs from the disabled list Friday. Kinkade had been rehabbing in Arizona after having his hand broken by a pitch in spring training. To make room for Kinkade, the Cubs placed catcher Mike Mahoney back on the disabled list. Right-hander Angel Guzman was previously optioned to Iowa to coincide with Felix Pie's promotion to Chicago. To make room for Guzman, the Cubs released reliever Hector Almonte on Friday. (Source: Iowa Cubs Media Relations.)
