Following this year's draft, right-hander Mike Billek was one of the top Cub picks taken in the first five rounds to sign a professional contract. The third-round, sandwich pick sat down with Inside The Ivy for a Q & A following his first season in the Cub farm system.

Inside The Ivy: Let's go back to the day of the draft. Tell us a little about the signing process. Mike Billek: I had talked to the scout (Keith Stohr) who drafted me and had meetings before the draft. We had both come to an agreement that if I were drafted in the top five rounds, I would sign.
