--2B Mark Grudzielanek (strained right hamstring) returned to the lineup on Wednesday after missing three games.
--SS Nomar Garciaparra was moved from fifth to second in the lineup in Wednesday's game against Cincinnati.
--The Cubs passed the 3 million mark in attendance for the first time in franchise history.
