Arizona Fall League roster announced
Addison Russell headlines the Cubs prospects headed to the Arizona Fall League. The shortstop will be joined by 1B Daniel Vogelbach and pitchers C.J. Edwards, Ivan Pineyro, Zach Cates and Gerardo Concepcion. OF Jacob Hannemann will be on the taxi squad, playing two games a week. These players are not set in stone as Javier Baez was announced on the team last year and taken off the roster. Russell, Edwards and Pineyro all missed significant time this year due to injury and the AFL is a great way to get at-bats and innings missed.
