Cardinals minors Tuesday transaction trio

The St. Louis Cardinals shifted three minor league players on Tuesday, from Triple-A to extended spring training.

On Monday, the St. Louis Cardinals began a series of moves in their system resulting from the activation of David Freese. The third baseman had been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis before being activated and starting for St. Louis during their Monday home opener.
