Perhaps auditioning for a call-up to the Majors, Andrew Oliver struggled in his first Toledo start, giving up five runs and walking five over 3 2/3 innings in a loss, although only two of those runs were earned. Oliver continued to show control issues, walking three batters in the third inning, but a fielding error by Eric Patterson meant the three runs in the inning were unearned. Oliver also had a wild pitch. At the plate, Ryan Strieby went 1-for-4 with an RBI double, while Omir Santos went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored.
